About Cacao

Cacao medicine is one of the sacred plant teachers of the world. Ceremonial cacao is created from the whole bean, as opposed to the processed, commercial chocolate we are familiar with. In its integral form, it is a powerful aid for dropping into the heart, connecting with intuition, opening into creative flow.  

About Breathwork

We are all made of energy, and breath is our connection to that life force. Through conscious use of our breath we become more embodied, access more range in our nervous system, and learn to move energy in our body at will. In this couples practice, you will have the opportunity to experience the movement of energy in your own system and circulate that energy with your partner, bringing you into divine energetic union. 

This experiential evening is designed to gently remove any walls to intimacy and allow couples to connect in deep presence. The cacao and breathwork practices are designed to bring you into a state of coherence, heart-centeredness, and blissful connection. 

We’ll begin our evening by creating sacred space and communing with the medicine of cacao. As the medicine awakens in your body, you'll receive a drumming ceremony to help you anchor into your heartspace. Then couples will be guided on a magical journey of breathwork, connection, and energetic exchange.

About Your Facilitators:

Monica

Monica is a Sacred Sexuality and Embodiment coach based in Toronto, Canada. 

She holds certifications as a Sexological Bodyworker and Somatic Sex Educator, and has completed numerous other trainings in psychotherapy, breathwork, yoga, Tantra, kink/BDSM, and Taoist sexuality. She has studied worldwide with prominent teachers including Joseph Kramer, Mantak Chia, Cleo Dubois and Eve Minax. She has been featured on CityLine, Soulspace podcast, and teaches regularly at Oasis Aqualounge’s Sex School Series. 

Monica is known for creating a warm and open environment where clients can dive into the most difficult topics surrounding their sexuality. She provides a unique container where clients can explore embodied coaching as well as receive full body touch in a safe and trauma informed environment. She specializes in creating sacred embodiment practices, and helping clients understand and communicate their needs and boundaries.

Judy's beloved relationship with the Cacao Plant Spirit, began when working intimately with a Shipibo-Conibo-trained Shaman, Laetitia Chonon Soi, followed by an Andean Medicine Man.

Trained and Spirit sanctioned/initiated teacher, Judy's purpose is to hold sacred space, mesmerizing others into remembering through daily rituals, Ceremonies, Cacao 16-day Deep Dive Journeys, Ceremony Facilitator Trainings and Cacao + Wellness Retreats in Peru & the Azores.
